Loblolly is a small, gated Hobe Sound community of approximately 275 families in two neighborhoods fronting on Peck Lake, a part of the Intracoastal Waterway just three and-a-half miles south of the St. Lucie Inlet at Stuart.  Just across the Intracoastal is the Jupiter Island Wildlife Refuge offering five miles of natural ocean beach that testifies to the unspoiled character of the area.  At Loblolly Bay you will find a deep-water marina of 80 slips for yachts up to 70 feet in length, a beach ferry, four har-tru tennis courts, lap pool and other swimming pools, and casual harbour-side dining. Loblolly Pines adds six har-tru tennis courts, a marvelous fitness center with full time trainers with Nautilus and Cybex equipment, swimming and dining in addition to great P.B. Dye golf.  These amenities are part of the private club, called Loblolly, and are not included as part of any property purchase. 

The environment in the Bay neighborhood is described as more casual in architecture with many wood and cedar roofed properties, while the Pines has an island flavor with stucco homes and tile roofs. 

Boaters are always most interested in our marina facilities.  We offer a minimum of six feet at low tide and are about ten running minutes to the St. Lucie Inlet with no bridges to hinder the journey to the Ocean.
